Attention inventors and specialists of patent services! Since 1st January 2006 the 8th edition of International Patent Classification (IPC) has taken effect. It was reformed and divided into two levels - base and extended. 1326 new rubrics entered this Classification including new sub-classes and 250 rubrics were cancelled.
Russian language editions of base and extended levels of IPC on paper carriers as well as the information-search system "International Patent Classification, 2006 year edition" (base level), were received by the Patent documents Department.

Patent documents Department (room 503) received a new reference-information edition -
Lexico-semantic identifier of goods and services designations.
The edition is intended in the first place for identification of goods and services and their designations used when forming the inventories as well as for discerning goods and services for which protection of trade marks is carried out or is proposed.

Specialists on operating the lifting mechanisms are invited to the reading hall of normative-technical documents (room 504) for acquainting with the new edition "Methodical advises on carrying out the technical diagnosis of climbing cranes with the expired lifetime". This edition determines the kinds of works on technical diagnosis of climbing cranes that worked over the normative term of operation with the aim to determine the possible terms of their further operation.
