catalogue (RLST EC) RLST Electronic catalogue (RLST EC) contains:
- periodicals available in RLST collection;
- books in foreign languages;
- books in Belarusian and Russian languages published since 1995 (some highly demanded editions published earlier are also included in the e-catalogue);
- technological normative documents (received since 2002);
- databases of patent, technological normative, and other documents including the ones built in the library;
- collection of industrial catalogues and promotional materials of international exhibitions;
- magazine articles on innovation activities, intellectual property, economics, and ecology.
The catalogue, which now contains over 200,000 bibliographical units, is updated continuously.
RLST is a republic-wide depository of patent documents in Belarus in accordance with the Paris Convention for the Protection of Industrial Property signed by Belarus in 1993. The Republic Patent Collection is a part of Belarusian state resource of scientific technical information, which provides information for state politics in the field of protection of industrial property. The collection contains over 42 million units including documents of 45 countries and four international organizations. The collection provides information about Belarusian inventions of the last 100 years and foreign ones of the last 50 years. It contains descriptions of inventions to claims and patents; abstract and bibliographic information about effective models, industrial samples, trademarks, plants, computer software, databases, and topologies of integrated circuits; official patent bulletins of the national patent offices; patent-associated, patent-legal, normative-methodical and reference literature, classification materials, and reference-search engine. Databases
of patent documents on CD-ROM include the descriptions of inventions to claims, patents, effective models, descriptions to industrial models and trademarks.
The collection of technological normative documents contains over 300,000 copies. The themes of the collection are multiple. The collection includes the following normative documents: state standards of Belarus, national classifiers of technical-economic and social information; international standards; transnational standards; national standards of Russia; industry standards, technical specifications valid before 1993; catalogue lists of products of Belarus and Russia; national standards of foreign countries (DIN); normative documents on standardization in the field of construction; guide directories, regulations, norms and advises on standardization; bibliographic information about the standards and other. The library provides full text and bibliographic databasesof technological normative documents.
The collection of Industrial cataloguescontains about 500,000 copies including: branch catalogues; nomenclature catalogues and lists; factual databases, INFORMELECTRO publications; information reports (bulletins), advertising booklets, company and business guides. RLST provides a unique collection of the materials of international exhibitions conducted in Minsk since 1993. The collection contains booklets, branch catalogues of new domestic and foreign industrial equipment, materials, and consumer goods produced and sold at the domestic market by companies, which took part in the exhibitions, and official catalogues of the participants.

RLST is a republic-wide depository of scientific technical literature on engineering, technologies, industrial economics, and analogous branches. The collection of scientific technical literature in Russian and Belarusian languages comprises over a million copies. Among them there are monographs, encyclopedias, terminology dictionaries and unique reference publications, proceedings of the institutes, conference materials, newspapers,
magazines, publications of scientific research institutes including databases of legal information, electronic magazines, and CD-ROM editions.
The collection of foreign scientific technical literature contains over 154,000 copies. There are books and magazines of over 20 biggest countries in the world on automobile construction, architecture, mechanical engineering, electronics, electrical engineering, light and food industry and also, company guides, explanatory and language dictionaries. There are electronic magazines on business, economics, finance, design, architecture, and databases,
including those from of EBSCO publishing such as Academic Search Elite, MasterFile Premier, Academic Search Premier, and Newspaper Source.

The collection of Bibliographic Publications comprises over 30,000 copies of bibliographic indexes, abstract magazines of VINITI (Russian Institute of Scientific and Technical Information) both print and electronic versionsl thematic bibliographic lists created in RLST.
RLST Information
Bulletin
|
RLST Information Bulletinis published since 1997. Its electronic version appeared on the website in 2001. The publication is designed for employees of scientific technical libraries, information, patent and standardization services, for which RLST is a methodical center for work with the collections of scientific technical documents.
